Beautiful, original and full of history: I am selling my 1962 Land Rover Series IIa SWB, called Laura, after more than 30 years of ownership. The vehicle has never been used for hard off‑road work and still retains many original details, including the first owner’s hand‑painted marking on both side doors.

History and First Owner
Laura was delivered new to Næstved Cemetery, where she served faithfully for more than 20 years. The hand‑painted N.KG. (Næstved Kirkegaard) on both side doors remains as evidence of her original use as a work vehicle for the cemetery. Subsequent owners have preserved and the vehicle as original; I have owned her for over 30 years and have looked after the original details.

Known Issues and Long Storage
- Stored for more than 15 years. Engine has been periodically turned over by hand crank or starter but has not been regularly started
- Perished hoses for radiator and fuel lines
- Tyres require replacement
- Some corrosion in the bulkhead and a few spots on the frame
- Transfer gearbox is stuck in neutral after long storage (a known issue after extended periods unused)
